Mutual Fund
A mutual fund is an entity that collects funds from different individual and institutional investors and invests it into a vehicle consisting of a portfolio of stocks, bonds, REITs, commodities, etc. Mutual funds are overseen by a professional fund manager who manages the assets in the portfolio.
