NYSE
The NYSE, or New York Stock Exchange is the oldest American exchange still in existence and the largest stock-focused exchange in the world based on the combined market cap of all the securities listed on the exchange.
The NYSE uses an auction-based system to execute trades on behalf of the brokers for the best price they can get, either on a physical trading floor or an electronic system.
